I hope you are doing well.
Here are my favourites from this week...
The Hard Thing about Hard Things by Ben Horowitz Vaibhav recommended this book in his most recent recommendation video. This is one of the best books you'll find on building companies. If you are an entrepreneur, you must read this book. If you are an aspiring entrepreneur, read this book. If you want to understand the struggles of building a business, read this book. There is no excuse!
Wipro smart Bulb I don't know how to explain this choice but, it just lights up my mood. If you don't have a smart bulb, please (pretty please) try one and you'll notice the difference in your mood and vibe :)
Beware of Feminist Lite by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie In this essay by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (author of We should all be feminists and Americanah), she calls out the Feminist Lite - people who bankrupt the idea of feminism. People who want equality but also want to allow the freedom. Chimamanda takes you through this hollow system and shows you the prejudice around you.
Plini Plini is an Australian guitarist and songwriter. His music is usually progressive rock. I discovered him in 2020 when he posted two posts on Instagram - one with birds and the other with surfers. The arrangement of birds and surfers looked like sheet music and so, he transcribed the photos into melodies. I also shared him as the artist of the week in our most recent e-mail campaign!
Never too small Never too small is a YouTube channel dedicated to small footprint living and design. It cover the works of award winning designers and their tiny/micro apartments across the globe. The channel features apartments, studios and off beat projects.
I hope these recommendations will help you discover smth that adds value and joy to your life.
Until next Monday...
P.S. I have just started reading Harry Potter Book 1. Would you like updates on that?
